A local body modification artist, Karl Warner, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for unlawful sexual acts involving a 14-year-old girl.Found guilty on October 4 of seven charges, Warner’s offenses spanned February to May 2021.
Justice Tunde Bakre delivered the sentence on November 26 in the High Court, noting that Warner’s actions cost him his freedom.Each count carried a potential sentence of up to 10 years.
Warner befriended the teenager after she visited his Craft Market business for a piercing.
The encounters, starting on February 24, occurred at his business location and continued on multiple dates, including March 1, April 1, May 10, and May 13.
