Twenty-one-year-old Saquania Anthony, a mother of two who was reportedly pregnant with her third child, has been identified as the woman killed in Monday night’s shooting in Bathlodge.
Reports indicate that Anthony was inside a home when armed gunmen entered and opened fire. She was fatally wounded in the attack and died at the scene. Anthony leaves behind a son and a daughter.
A 13-year-old boy and a 25-year-old man were also injured in the shooting. The teenager remains in critical condition after reportedly sustaining a gunshot wound to the face.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deadly attack. So far, no motive has been established and no arrests have been reported.
