Attorneys representing Edward Hadeed, Cosbert Sergeant, Aliegh Byers, and Jamal Kane are pushing to have the case against their clients thrown out.
They argue that the charges are an abuse of the process, pointing to the statute of limitations that has expired since the alleged illegal actions occurred between August 10th, 2007, and July 25th, 2017.
The lawyers, Wendell Robinson and Michael Archibald, assert that the charges are vague and fail to specify the offenses.
They deem the situation as “blatant and ridiculous” and are seeking dismissal of the case.
