The family of Denyse Plummer in Trinidad and Tobago has released a statement on Facebook saying she is “alive and well, resting at home on this rainy Wednesday.”
The family statement said they have received an overwhelming outpour of love and support.
It went further in chastising a media house that reported Plummer’s death. “It goes without saying we are quite disappointed the media would put this news into the public eye without proper verification, but what’s done is done,” the statement said.
The family said it has sought to assure family, friends and fans that “she’s still with us”.
