Police are continuing investigations into a shooting incident at Swetes that resulted in the death of 40-year-old Richard Winfield of Swetes.It was reported that around 10:30 pm on Friday, 7 February, a lone assailant approached several men on foot at St. Ann Road and fired multiple shots a them.
Two men, including the deceased were transported to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
Winfield succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 11:28 pm.Meanwhile the second victim, a 31-year-old of male of Hatton remain hospitalized, also nursing multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
His injuries are serious; however, not life-threatening.
