Water Business Unit Manager At APUA, Ian Lewis, is assuring residents that they can expect water around the clock once the Bethesda Plant is in operation.
Speaking during a media tour for the Fort James Plant today, Mr lewis said that the plant when in operation will be producing 3.2 million gallons a day.
The Bethesda Reverse Osmosis Plant is about to move to the construction phase of project.
Most of the items are on island for the plant except the electrical and control panels and the pressure vessels.
Completition and Commissioning of the plant is now schedule for 2024.
Lewis also indicated that due to the persistent supply chain situations and protracted lead times some required components are quoting six months to one year for delivery.
He said that once completed the plant will be able to allow the Water Business Unit to meet daily demand and also posssess the additional spinning reserves
