Police have made significant progress in their investigation into the armed robbery at Roti King on Saturday night, resulting in the arrest of two suspects.
During the incident, two robbers entered the restaurant in St. John’s City and demanded money while brandishing guns.
An off-duty police officer who was nearby confronted the robbers and was shot below the right knee during a shootout.
The officer received medical treatment and has been discharged.
The robbers fled the scene with XCD$3,000.00 and tickets for the ‘Farmers Only’ event.
