Prime Minister Browne, a friend of Ambassador Ramez Hadeed, reports that he and Mrs. Maria Browne went to visit this outstanding citizen yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 6 December 2023, only to learn that he had been taken to the hospital
He took a turn for the worse and died shortly thereafter.
Ambassador Ramez Hadeed’s death has left our country poorer and his family in deep mourning. The people of Antigua and Barbuda feel this loss.
The Prime Minister and Ambassador Ramez Hadeed frequently shared experiences on topics that ranged from business to Antiguan life, from healthy living to caring for family.
The two held strong beliefs that related to nation-building, and formed a friendship that will persist, even though death has taken him away.
Ambassador Ramez Hadeed was a very generous soul who came to the assistance of many, in difficult times.
He is highly appreciated throughout our island-state and is very well loved. May his Soul rest in Peace and rise in Glory.
