One of Sir Molwyn Joseph’s assistants at the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is now in hospital after being stabbed 14 times by an assailant in the early hours of Friday morning.
A tearful Sir Molwyn says the assailant broke into the home of Monifa St John in Ebenezer and attacked her
Her government-assigned vehicle was also stolen in addition to important documents.
Sir Molwyn says he has since been to the hospital to check on her condition and reports she is in stable condition.
He is hopeful for a full and speedy recovery.
Police are now investigating, but no motive has yet been ascertained. (STATE MEDIA)
