Anthony Ricardo Goulbourne of Seaview Farm was sentenced to 7 months at His Majesty’s Prison by a magistrate in the St. Johns Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
He appeared in court charged with Possession of 9 pounds of Cannabis, Possession with Intent to Transfer, and Importation of Cannabis. He pleaded guilty to the charge of Possession with Intent to Transfer and was sentenced accordingly. The other charges were withdrawn.
Goulbourne was arrested and taken into custody on Thursday after a barrel he went to clear at the Deep Water Harbour was found with 12 packages of cannabis. He was later charged for committing the offences.
