LIAT 2020 has taken to the skies with with it’s first flight to St Lucia.
The airline will initially operate three weekly flights to St Lucia and back to Antigua.
Plans are in the making to expand services with more routes expected to come into operation shortly.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne speaking at the ribbbon cutting ceremony held at the LIAT check-in counter, expressed optimism that the airline equipped with seven aircraft, will alleviate the travel woes faced by the regional public.
