(OBSERVER)In the trial of four individuals accused of killing Falmouth resident Bruce Greenaway, a pathologist testified about the cause of death.
The pathologist revealed that Greenaway was strangled through a force applied to his neck.
Examination of his body showed a fracture in the left thyroid cartilage and a hemorrhagic area on the neck.
The pathologist confirmed that the injury was not self-inflicted.
The trial, which has experienced delays, is nearing its conclusion.
The quartet, consisting of a police officer and three Defense Force soldiers, is facing charges of strangling Greenaway, whose body was discovered in a decomposed state at Indian Creek.
