In a week, the V2V Empress, a fast catamaran ferry with a capacity of 245 passengers, will launch transportation services between Antigua and Montserrat.
Operated by NAVIYUC S.A. De C.V., the service will run for five months, operating five days per week off-peak and six days during peak periods until March next year.
This will enhance connectivity, particularly for Montserrat residents traveling to Antigua. The vessel will also cater to tourists for day tours and travel between Antigua and Nevis.
Customs and Immigration checks were successfully completed upon the vessel’s arrival in Antigua, meeting all requirements.
The V2V Empress boasts modern amenities and a 192-passenger daily limit, with a travel time of approximately 1.5 hours.
