The constituents of All Saints West have big things to shout about.
In a significant move toward community revitalization and infrastructural development, All Saints West MP and the new Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries, and the Blue Economy, Hon. Anthony Smith Jr., has officially launched the All Saints West Clean and Green Initiative. This ambitious program aims to transform the constituency, enhancing both its physical infrastructure and overall community aesthetic
In a move to change the entire construct of the community while continuing to deliver services to the citizenry, Hon. Anthony Smith rolled out the new program, suggesting that leaders must find new and innovative ways to clean the community and enhance the aesthetics of the constituency.Smith has always been pioneering, forming synergies with the business community, friends, and families to get the work done. In the past, he has partnered with various entities to remove garbage, clear water drainages, remove bushes from the sides of the road, and, in some cases, reconstruct entire roads. MP Smith believes that All Saints West must be a model constituency in Antigua, sometimes using his personal resources to achieve results.
The All Saints West Clean and Green Initiative, however, brings new partnerships to the table.
For this new initiative, Hon. Smith collaborates with the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, receiving overwhelming support from his cabinet colleagues. Smith expressed profound gratitude for the unwavering support he has received from his fellow Ministers, stating, “Meaningful change and delivery must come to All Saints West.”
“Since becoming an independent Member of Parliament, my focus has been on delivering relief, development, and an overall better life for my people in All Saints West who elected me to lead,” he stated. “My journey into politics was fueled by my love for the people and an immense desire to serve my country, and I am committed to fulfilling that calling with the highest level of integrity.”
