KING YOUNG DESTROYER IS THE 2023 CALYPSO MONARCH

King Young Destroyer reigns supreme in the 2023 Carib Beer Calypso Monarch competition. He defeated nine competitors with his renditions of ‘Simply the Best’ and ‘Respect Your Own’. The 1st runner position went to King Zacari while King Fyah captured the 2nd runner up spot. Young Destroyer’s song ‘Respect Your Own’ was also adjudged Best Social Commentary while Most Improved Calypsonian went to Lip No Stick.
