Defence Force Captain Javonson Willock was awarded EC$25,000 by the High Court after a dispute with the Chief of Defence Staff over alleged misconduct.
The High Court invalidated the allegations from 2021, recognizing flaws in the disciplinary procedure, though the award was much lower than the EC$380,000 Willock sought.
Justice Jan Drysdale also issued an injunction preventing changes to Willock’s employment status.
Additionally, ABDF officers Austin Buntin and Marlan Mathurin are pursuing legal action to protect their ranks and benefits. (Story Credit: NewsCo)
