St. John’s, Antigua The Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWiL) is a non-partisan and
independent, flagship networking organization committed to advancing women’s
transformational leadership, and to increase the numbers of women in leadership and decision making in political and civic life.
The mission of CIWiL, throughout its various chapters in the Caribbean, including its Antigua & Barbuda Chapter, is to drive the advancement of Caribbean
women in leadership, at the national and regional levels, through advocacy, partnership, sisterliness, mentorship, training, and development.
With this mandate in mind, the CIWiL Antigua & Barbuda National Chapter has launched its newest initiative, the Fempreneur Fund, a 3-month initiative that aims toprovide financial support, mentorship, and resources to women entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their industries.
Under the mantra, “Invest In Women’s Dreams Empowering Futures”, the
Fempreneur Fund intends to highlight the power of female-led businesses to drive innovation, create change, and inspire the next generation of leaders and to provide female business owners with a vehicle which they can use to further their entrepreneurial endeavours.
By working together, we can create a more inclusive and diverse business landscape in Antigua &Barbuda.
Applications are invited until May 31, 2024 from all female entrepreneurs whose business has been established for at least one (1) year and who possess a vision and passion for making an impact.
