NHC – Hurricane Lee, a major hurricane with winds reaching 120 mph, continues its trajectory.
Located at 23.1N, 62.6W, it stands about 340 miles north of the northern Leeward Islands and 650 miles southeast of Bermuda.
Moving at 7 mph towards the northwest, Lee is anticipated to gradually shift northward in the coming days.
Although no coastal warnings are in effect, the Western Atlantic faces imminent hazards, including treacherous surf and rip currents.
Lee’s hurricane-force winds encompass a 75-mile radius from its center, while tropical-storm-force winds extend up to 185 miles.
