Eric Burton, 59, accused of murdering Jamal Ryner, 22, has been remanded to prison after his initial court appearance.
he case is adjourned to April 4 for the examination of evidence to determine trial eligibility in the High Court.
Attorney Michael Archibald represents Burton.
Ryner was stabbed to death on February 13 on Rohan Henry Street.
