On Thursday at approximately 10:30 a.m, a collaborative drug interdiction operation took place at the Deep-Water Harbour, involving officers from the Narcotics Department and the Customs Enforcement Unit.
During the operation, a total of thirty-nine and a half (39.5) pounds of Cannabis were confiscated, with an estimated street value of $316,000.00ECC.
The seized substance is currently undergoing further investigation.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and ongoing investigations are being conducted.
