Mere days after Prime Minister Gaston Browne announced that non-performing public sector workers would be sent home, two managers at State Insurance have been fired.
According to reports, Accountant Andre Knight and Life Manager Janice Hodge have been fired because of a lack of confidence in the accuracy of their accounting statements.
Their dismissal comes on the heels of a Cabinet decision to send the General Manager of the Antigua and Barbuda Public Utilities Authority (APUA), Esworth Martin on pre-retirement leave.
On Monday Chief Executive Officer of the Antigua and Barbuda Airports Authority, Euletta Francis, resigned, citing a lack of respect from Prime Minister Browne.
