Thank You Drive-Through escalates into Mega Motorcade

St John’s, Antigua, January 22nd, 2023 – A planned drive through the St Peter’s
constituency to thank the people for their support of independent candidate Asot
Michael in the January 18th, 2023 election grew rapidly into a massive motorcade
Sunday afternoon.
The event started at the PIggot’s playing field about 3:00 PM, moved through
Paynters, Gunthropes, Lightfoot, Mount Joy, North Sound, Pares, Vernons and
ended in Parham with approximately 1,000 vehicles.
Newly elected independent MP for St Peter Hon. Asot Michael says the response is
as overwhelming as the historical landslide victory over the candidates of all three
political parties.
Along the route, MP Michael thanked constituents for their decisive vote of
confidence in his commitment to serving the needs of all:
“With everything inside of me, I will honor the faith and trust with which you have
appointed me to serve in this important leadership responsibility. With everything
inside of me I will strive to exceed your expectations for continuous improvement
in the quality of life for all constituents.
“With your votes, St. Peter, chose an independent parliamentary representative for
the first time in Antigua and made history in a most emphatic way”.
