(SKNNews)The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to share his experience of visiting the island of St Vincent and The Grenadines for a multi-day visit. During his trip, he met and interacted with the various prominent people associated with the island nation. He also got the opportunity to visit and engage with many members of the country’s administration.
The leader of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party took to his social media account to share his experience from his most recent excursion. Notably, The minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and labour, Saboto Caesar, invited Dr Drew to a special event.
The said event was hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture of St Vincent and the Grenadines in collaboration with the Republic of China (Taiwan). The special event was dubbed “Improving Vegetable Cultivation Management and Post-harvest Handling Project”.
The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew shared some images from his experience on his social media. The said images featured Dr Drew delivering a remarkable address on the occassion.
The representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture in the government of St Vincent and the Grenadines, alongside a delegation from the Republic of China (Taiwan), were present at the special event. In his social media post, Dr Terrance Drew shared that he was allowed to deliver brief remarks.
In his very brief remarks, he wrote that he expressed to the farmers and other attendees that we must continue increasing our agricultural output to decrease our reliance on food importation.
The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew further announced that It has indeed been a very productive visit thus far. During his visit to St Vincent and the Grenadines, he visited several places, including a tour of the CANNA SVG Medicinal Cannabis Farm, where he had the opportunity to explore the potential and management of the cannabis industry on the island nation.
