- Mangoes are excellent source of vitamin C, beta-carotene, vitamin A and dietary fibre. The vitamin C and beta-carotene both act as antioxidant to help protect our cells from free-radical damage, safeguarding the health of blood vessels and vital organs such as our heart and liver. Mangoes are also great for gut health due to its high amount of dietary fibre, regulating our bowel movement. Mangoes also contain eyes protecting antioxidants such as lutein and zeaxanthin. Along with vitamin A, these important antioxidants act as filters to protect our eyes from light damage and natural aging. Therefore mangoes are considered an all-around super fruit that can support our overall well-being.
