Health Minister Molwyn Joseph has raised concerns about patients being abandoned in hospitals, leading to unnecessary strain on resources.
He revealed that 14 patients are currently occupying beds, though they should be at home.
“Many people come to the hospital and are treated, and then the family leaves them there,” Minister Joseph remarked during a radio interview.
“We have 14 patients at the hospital now occupying beds when they should be home because their families have abandoned them.”
