The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) will open its offices in Barbados as the regional headquarters for the Caribbean and the Americas next month, Prime Minister Mia Mottley announced on Tuesday.

Mottley was speaking during a tour with the European Commission’s Executive Vice President for the European Green Deal Frans Timmermans.
The tour included a visit to the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex, the HOPE housing project at Lancaster, St James, Six Men’s, St Peter and Walkers Reserve, St Andrew.
