All plots at the Dunbars Housing Development on Friars Hill Road have been sold, according to Senator Rawdon Turner, Executive Chairman of the National Housing and Urban Renewal Company.
He highlighted the high demand for housing in Antigua and Barbuda.
To accommodate young entrepreneurs, a section of Friars Hill Road has been designated for businesses in a prime location.
Additionally, new opportunities are emerging in other parts of the country, including Freetown, Piccadilly, and Five Islands, where affordable homes will be built for sale.
Turner noted the department receives numerous daily applications for land ownership, but the government lacks sufficient land to meet the demand.
He dispelled the misconception that applications are being delayed unfairly, attributing any delays to the sheer volume of applications and land scarcity.
