T&T grabs 4×400 title

LAST Friday afternoon, at almost the precise time that Minister of Finance Colm Imbert was on his feet in Parliament extolling the turnaround in the domestic economy, news began to leak out that problems with BPTT’s infill drilling off the east coast of Trinidad could result in Atlantic’s Train 1 being mothballed in 2020 and 2021.

In Parliament on Friday, Mr Imbert was responding point-by-point to a private member’s motion tabled by Opposition MP Dr Bhoe Tewarie asking the House to condemn the Government for its recklessness and mismanagement of the finances and the economy of T&T.
