The Community Of New Winthropes Lead the Way In Cleanup Campaign

The New Winthorpes Community led the way over the weekend, becoming the first entity to take part in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment’s cleanup campaign ahead of the “Play it Out to phase it Out” Concert slated for this weekend.
Residence of New Winthorpes got the ball rolling about ten past six on Sunday morning in an effort which saw participation and support coming from dozens of the community’s residents, the Seventh Day Adventist Pathfinder Club, K.D. Brokerage, the National Solid Waste Management Authority, and Total Imports…
During a press conference earlier this month, Health Minister-Molwyn Joseph encouraged the nation to beautify their community ahead of the concert, promising government’s full assistance to any group who took up the initiative.
The “Play it Out to phase Out plastic pollution concert will be held this coming Saturday, June 1st at the Sir Viv Stadium.
