Post Office Workers Sent Home After Fire Scare

Staff at the General Post Office have been sent Home following

A fire scare .

Sources have indicated that during  a power surpression which tripped the braker, workers complained of smelling smoke .

It is understood that it was at this stage, that the workers decided to evacuate the building.

Two units from the fire brigade responded  and  a complete sweep of the building was done .

The Fire officers  found  nothing,but have recommended to the management of the General Post office to have the  electricals  checked out.
