MP’s home robbed

St Joseph Police are investigating a break-in at the home of Port of Spain South MP, Marlene McDonald.
According to police reports, around 11:30 on Tuesday morning. Ms McDonald secured her Valley View, Maracas-St Joseph home before departing.
Upon her return around 7 pm, she discovered her home had been broken into and ransacked. Further checks revealed that TT$3,000 and a quantity of jewellery were missing.
It is believed the burglars entered by prying open a window on the western side of the house.
The scene was processed and a fingerprint impression was recovered.
Investigations are ongoing.
