May 2019 Second Wettest May In 26 Years

The Local met office is reporting that May 2019 is the second wettest May in Twenty-six years…
According to climatologist Mr Orvin Paige, some 7.72 inches of rain was recorded for May 2019 at the airport.
Mr Paige indicated that 2013 May, when some 9.16 inches of rain was recorded, was the highest for any May in twenty-six years.
The Climatologist also disclosed that within the last twenty-four hours,Beathesda recorded 4.93 inches, the stadium 3.83 inches and Cobbs Cross 3.83 inches of rainfall.
Mr Paige indicated that as a result of this kind of rainfall, a number of areas would have experienced some flooding.
The climatologist pointed that for tonight the conditions will be cloudy with more showers in the forecast.
He said that a break in the weather is expected by sometime tomorrow afternoon.
