Italian murder convict Umberto Schenato has died.
He passed away at the Fiennes Institute Monday evening.
In 2013, Schenato murdered Edda, his former wife of 18 years.
Edda was repeatedly stabbed in the Epicurean supermarket parking lot.
Schenato spent three years on remand and was sentenced in 2016.
He was then sentenced to spend 20 years in Her Majesty’s Prison, but in 2020, the by then 80-year-old, was moved to the Fiennes Institute, reportedly due to ill health.
