CIBC FirstCaribbean in Antigua joined branches across the region in celebrating its Client Appreciation Day yesterday, 13th June.

Clients were welcomed by members of management and staff as they entered the bank’s two branches.

Country Manager Glen Smith noted that this special day is a great way of recognizing these very, very important and essential contributors to the bank’s success – “our clients, who are the reason we come to work every day.”

He noted that just two weeks ago on 28th May, the bank celebrated its Employees with their own Appreciation Day.

“CIBC FirstCaribbean owes its success to our loyal clients and our excellent staff,” he said.

Manager of the bank’s two branches, Mrs. Dawn Soleyn, added that it was very important to always say thanks and show appreciation as without loyal and satisfied customers and a staff dedicated to excellence of service, the business would not survive.

 “Our clients are the reason we are in business, and we want our clients to know that we understand that they have a choice in their financial services provider, and appreciate that they have made us their bank of choice.”

Similar sentiments were echoed by the bank’s CEO, Collette Delaney, in a message to staff on Client Appreciation Day. She said this is a day set aside to show customers how much their business is appreciated.

“It’s only fitting, given that they are the reason we are in business. Imagine what would happen to CIBC FirstCaribbean if people stopped coming to us to make their financial dreams a reality!

There’d be no reason for us to be here, would there? Every client is important to us and it is up to us to make them welcome, so they feel as if they matter to CIBC FirstCaribbean.”

Clients were served with drinks and snacks during the course of the day.
