APUA Promises a Better Supply of Water Following recent Rainfall

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority Water Business Unit would like to inform the public of the findings from the assessment of the surface water catchments following the showers over the weekend.
The assessment of the water catchments utilized by the APUA Water Business Unit on Monday June 3rd, 2019, concludes that sufficient water has been collected to supply consumers for approximately 5 months. These catchments include the Bendals Dams, Big Creek and Potworks Dam.
Extraction has not yet started at the Potworks Dam. The water collected will be required to settle and maintenance exercises are being carried out to the relevant plants to treat and distribute.

APUA anticipates that the recently collected water will be put into the distribution system within the coming days.
