Antigua and Barbuda Delegation Leaves For Important UWI Meeting

Attorney General, Minister of Legal Affairs Public Safety and Labour Steadroy Cutie Benjamin left the country with Education Minister Michael Browne and other technicians from the Ministry of Education on Thursday to attend a meeting with the Finance and General Purposes Committee of the University of West Indies.

At that meeting all decisions will be made with respect to the establishment of the fourth landed campus in Antigua and Barbuda.

Minister Benjamin is optimistic that the vision of the educators for over 70 years will become a reality with the establishment of the fourth landed campus in the OECS region, which will serve the purpose of affording opportunities to all persons to access tertiary education.

The meeting will take place on Friday May 31st in Barbados.
