ACB Caribbean Customers Express Concern about a new Policy that was introduced over the Weekend

Several ACB customers are reacting to the decision of the financial institution to charge a $1 fee for using some ATM’s. Some are calling on nationals to boycott the institution.

Last Friday, the bank announced that as of Sunday 7th November, the fee would be charged for the use of offsite ATM’s. This means the charge would apply to people who are using the ACB machines at the Airport, Town House Plaza, Epicurean and Perry Bay Supermarket.

Customers using the ATM’s at ACB locations at the Village Walk Mall, St. Mary’s and High Street will not be charged. Many customers have reacted on social media criticizing the announcement and the timing when many people are unemployed, others are calling it a rip-off.

ACB Caribbean has not cited the reason for the introduction of the charge.
