Instructions have been given to make alternative arrangements for Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s flight back home in the wake of the crash of the Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft flown by Ethiopian Airlines which claimed 157 lives.

Sources confirmed that this decision, which was taken in “anticipation of a worldwide ban”, pre-dated the announcement by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Trinidad and Tobago Civil Aviation Authority (TTCAA) on Wednesday.
