Indian Government Donates Ventilators To Antigua & Barbuda

The Infectious Disease Control Center is now even more equipped following the donation of 5 state of the art ventilators from the Government of India.

The donation was facilitated through the United Nations Development Programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in particular, Ambassador Aubrey Webson.

Health Minister Molwyn Joseph, Foreign Affairs Minister E. P Chet Greene, Permanent Secretary (Acting) Janice Michael, Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Alfred Athill and UNDP Programme Associate, Mellissa Johnson were in attendance at the IDC on Thursday 25th June, 2019 for the handing over ceremony.

Minister Joseph, while speaking at the handing over ceremony, indicated that two of the ventilators will be given to Barbuda.
