The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Envirinment is calling on citizens not to litter the beaches during the Easter Holidays.
“It’s the much anticipated long Easter weekend. The time of the year when thousands of us head to the beaches for some good fun and family time…. But remember we are all responsible for keeping our beaches clean and pristine,” a statement from the Ministry indicated.
To this end, the Ministry is urging residents to Walk with their trash bins and bags as they leave for the beaches. The statement added that the Ministry is also reminding those heading to the beach to be certain to take their litter home afterwards….. According to the Ministry, Everyone’s a winner when we don’t litter.
